Zakia was snatched away from his mother at almost newborn age. Kondo didn't think much of it when he decided this was how he was going to get back at his mate for leaving him in the first place. Days were passing fast, and Kondo began to realize he had no idea what he was going to do with a cub. He didn't know how to raise a cub or love anything, for that matter. He could hardly take care of himself. Zakia began to grow strong, but very weak at the same time. His muscles were beyond that of a normal cub boy, but he was very underfed. It wasn't until one day, alone in a cave with his son, that Kondo realized if he didn't teach his son to hunt, and soon, both of them would die. The adult lion would decide to train Zakia until he was only a few months old, trained to hunt decent sized prey like gazelles and large birds. Time passed and passed and passed... Still, Kondo failed to sense any kind of compassion for his boy. In fact, the rage he once felt for his mate had now been replaced with guilt and burden. And whenever he saw his son, Kondo was reminded of this awful feeling. With everyday, it worsened.
